How not to use the Hi-lite from Lastolite, but you so should

Hi and welcome. Here you will find tips on how I plan, set up and shoot. This is an experimental page with lots of my mistakes but it will show people how I shoot my weddings, portraits, live events and anything else you would like to gain first hand knowledge in. If you have anything you would like to learn about please get in touch through the "Get in touch' page. I hope to post a new learning blog every 2 weeks and more often when the season is more quiet.

Basically the Hi-Lite is a white pop up tent (sorry Lastolite, but it is) that you insert speed lights or studio flash heads. Place your subjects on the out side and it created a perfect 'hi-key' look to your portraits. I use this for home portrait sessions, events and photobooths at weddings. experiment with the light placement and you will get some great results. Good luck and let me know how you get on in the comments box below.

Thanks for visiting, hope you take away something you can use in your photography journey.Les.

Some more images from the set. Thank you Poppy T (step daughter) for helping out, and doing a great job
